The Trojan kiss

Advanced species, by definition, will create situations and technologies which could lead to their extinction.

Whether you’re developing your nuclear arsenal, or developing computers that can think, or simply living in a globalized world where germs can be transmitted rapidly across the whole planet, the creation of new, advanced technology creates new dangers for the entire species, which converts the seductive blessings of technology into a Trojan kiss which at any time could suddenly unleash catastrophe.

Luck has an expiry date

That Extinction becomes inevitable unless the advanced species develops advanced government to counter the dangers which advanced technology brings.

A lucky species can bungle along and survive for several years or even several generations without advanced government, but it is a universal constant that eventually disaster will strike. Luck has an expiry date. Eventually, there will be a nuclear war, there will be some kind of environmental disaster, there will be some kind of plague. This is the hardest Loiss law for any species to assimilate and the one which existing governments will die on a hill to deny. If you get the three most powerful governments of a planet togetherAnd try to get them to admit law too, they will always point the finger at one of the other governments and say that they are the true danger of extinction, and if they can just continue competing with them and beat them in the end and become the dominant force, then the world will be much safer and better. And that’s why the third law is concerned with explaining this inevitability.

Competition is the opium of the government

The inevitability of extinction comes when you have a planet dominated by competing governments for whom the competition trumps everything else.

Whether politics is dominated by competing governments, or politicians competing for voters, Or rulers competing with their own population to dominate them, governments become both intoxicated by and slave to competition. Biological species are also hardwired for competition because resources are finite.It is the powerful narcotic which makes winning much more important to them then what seems like some theoretical danger on the horizon. It’s as if all the governments of the world are in a house and they’re all fighting for a bigger room in that house and constantly trying to extend their room and as they lose themselves in this struggle, none of them realize that the house itself is it at risk of falling down because they are just focusing on knocking down it’s in a walls and moving things around rather than Shoring up the foundations.

The taming the fox

Competitive governments can only become Advanced governments if they are forced to do so by a majority of their citizens.

Governments, especially ones that have been in power for a long time, cannot stop competing. And remember, you should not just think of competition as geopolitical competition,There is also competition amongst politicians for voters for votes, and then with individual leaders the competition against the desire for freedom in their own population to suppress them. that’s another form of competition. But whatever the nature of that competition – .for some of them this is a question of their very survival, for others the addiction of power – It is impossible toConvincea competing government to become advanced government, Because it’s like asking a fox who is poised above a chicken house well stocked, too withdraw its claw and go and wait patiently inside the table in the queue for a bowl of chicken soup. it is not in a biological beings nature to give up power because power is the ultimate Resource. Therefore, the only way to get to competing government into an advanced government is to force them, either by the power of the people be that Revolution or Ballot Box. Of course, a very powerful government with overwhelming military force behind them could compel everyone into advanced government, but This is a riskyand less than ideal path because it involved coercion and would inevitably lead to instability and the breakup of the advanced government at some point be it in several years or several generations. a majority of the planet must understand the lowest laws and force their government to follow them. it does not have to mean the end of competition between nations, because competition breeds Innovation and motivation and many other things, but it means that it matters of species security no other policy or religion or history can interfere with that.

If your reply to LOISS is that such laws are impossible to institute, then you are condemning your species to extinction and permanent isolation from those species who are capable of instituting them.

The true Mark of an intelligent species is not technology, but the ability to Institute political structures capable of managing and safeguarding that technology. if your species is only capable of technological advancement but remains with a political system which is fundamentally animal i.e.it is based on the acquisition of status and resources and competition above all else, then you have not become an intelligent species. that’s why political science is just as important as pure science. species that Advance technologically but not politically become extinct, trust me I have studied many, and not only is that tragic for you, but even if you manage to luck out for further generations and survive and even develop some kind of star flight you will be isolated from all of the most interesting and benevolent starfaring civilizations because they will understand that you are a competitor species i.e. a predator species And will be eliminated because you will be a destabilizing and dangerous Force within the community.

the reason I have come to Earth now is because after years of observing you, I can see that your luck is about to run out. but unfortunately, it’s only when the signs of that Luck running out become evident, that the people of a species can become concerned enough to start forcing their governments to do what is really the prime function of government to keep people safe. there is no point in having a great GDP or managing to conquer other countries and wrap them into your Empire or whatever particular competition you are winning, if your planet and your species is in mortal danger. and so finally, let’s deal with that question why am I telling you this in this manner and not flying across space in my faster than light spaceship dazzling and clearly easily convincing the people I’m trying to convince. the answer is that the rules do not work that way.

just as forcing people militarily into advanced government is an extremely has an extremely low probability of success, dazzling people into advanced government doesn’t work either, it’s a bit like God performing Miracles rather than demanding they have faith or other than seeing by reason he or she is their makeup. a species must come to Advanced government because they understand the intrinsic need for it, because it is only when they understand the intrinsic need for it that they fundamentally become Advanced because they have surpassed the final impediment of biological survival. they understand that true survivalist species survival, a little is various drives to compete and get resources and whatever don’t matter for shit if the entire system in which they are played out, collapses. therefore, I have done my part, I have informed you of the Laws of intelligent species survival. now it is your job to make sure they are adopted.
can I give you any help or suggestions based on other species who have successfully made the transition, yes I can. Because it involves the employment of reason, not my faster than light spaceship, which just for the record is not faster than light not quite.

The reason your planet started going in the wrong direction was because your information flows became contaminated. In order to create security and justice and change in the world you need to have absolutely accurate information about that world and the vast majority of the population has to be in agreement with that information. the invention of the internet which of course is an inevitability in all species advanced nature, allowed your species to essentially revert to an earlier stage in its development. passion, superstition, anger, conspiracy, tribalism, nastiness, And the malevolent forces who know exactly how to manipulate them, have all started to gain ascendancy And the main reason is because sadly enough, you’re extremely poor education system has led to a state where there are more stupid members of your species than intelligent ones. thus, they prefer to follow their passion and their Superstition and their tribalism and their nastiness etc.

Unfortunately, the clear and present danger of extinction does not give you the luxury of launching some generations long push for education and enlightenment. you must engage in pure politicsAnd you must get these people into a political party or system run by intelligent people and compassionate people and scientific people, and the only way you’re going to do that is by offering these people something. and by the way, advanced government isn’t going to do it. you must proceed to advance government in your politics but you must have platforms and policies which make the average citizen I.E your average stupid person believe that they were going to be really tangible benefits by going to your side. the good historical analogy here is to think of the origins of the labor movement and socialism. this was an alliance between intellectuals and workers. a huge amount of University educated people fundamentally believed in policies and political party which helped the majority of the population / their taxes, slash your wages, give them money in their pockets, a lot of it, yes Brian do whatever the fuck you have to do but develop political policies that are attractive and are delivered by attractive politicians. as I mentioned earlier, political sciences equally as important as pure science, and you people are doing a terrible job of it. find some good charismatic politicians. if you know anyone that is the following combination of characteristics ballsy, funny, intelligent and charismatic then tell that person that for the survival of their species they need to go into politics.

That is the democracies. of course, they then Remains the problem of the billions of people who can’t vote in New leaders. History has proven, and even your own history, but when a species has a lot of governments who are building prosperous, fair, attractive societies, then the rest of the world is slowly drawn towards that. In the 1970s, religious fundamentalism was on the retreat, and in the 1980s communism fell apart, and in the 2000s Velvet Revolution started happening, all of them fundamentally inspired by the west. that was a species moving towards advanced government. but what happened? what happened was that two things happened at the same time the intelligent and the supposedly compassionate and the sort of people who are good for in Parts government stopped fighting for the average citizens and just started fighting for themselves and paying themselves extortionate wages and creating their fantastic global opportunities for themselves, and a new information Source came to dominate all others and then those information sources came to be dominated by the unintelligent and the nasty and the superstitious, and they in turn started to vote in people like them, and then our society completely lost its magnetic drawer and advanced government has gone down the toilet with it and that’s the threat of Extinction gone up.
